Donald Hambrick

Academy of Management Scholar Donald “Don” Hambrick of the Pennsylvania State University’s Smeal College of Business is a past President of the Academy of Management (AOM). He is also Bronfman Professor Emeritus atColumbia University’s Graduate School of Business.

Hambrickisan internationally recognized management scholarfocusing on executive psychology, top management team dynamics, and the history and evolution of the field of strategic management. He is the author of numerous articles and books on strategy formulation, strategy implementation, executive psychology, executive staffing and incentives, the composition and processes of top management teams, and corporate governance.
