Eva Boxenbaum

Academy of Management Scholar Eva Boxenbaum of Copenhagen Business School conducts research on the spread and institutionalization of new management ideas and practices. Her research focuses on cognitive, material, and visual dimensions of these processes, as well as their intended and unintended consequences. She directs the Center for Organizational Research on Impact (CORI) and leads the collective research project TITAN: Turning Theory into Action, which is funded by the Velux Foundation. She is the author of a book on ildsjæle (zealots) and the founder of the civic engagement project Tekstil i Tingbjerg.

Her work has been published in journals such as Academy of Management Review and Academy of Management Annals. In recognition of her impactful qualitative and conceptual research, she received the prestigious 2021 EliteForsk Award as well as the 2019 DSEB Research Award.

 

In 2022-2023, Boxenbaum was Division Chair for the Organization and Management Theory (OMT) Division of the Academy of Management. She is program director of Master of Management Development (MMD), an executive part-time degree at CBS.

 

She is also a member of the Board of the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art and of the board of Copenhagen Business School.
