VALHALLA, N.Y., 25 June 2025 — The world’s largest gathering of management and organization scholars is expected at he Academy of Management’s Annual Meeting 25-29 July in Copenhagen.

“Our Annual Meeting in Copenhagen marks an exciting new chapter for AOM, providing a unique opportunity for our members to connect, collaborate, and share knowledge,” said Academy of Management (AOM) President Peter A. Bamberger of Tel Aviv University. “Technological disruption, migration, inequality, economic uncertainty, and environmental and health crises across the globe are just some of the challenges to managing and leading today’s organizations. As the premier global community of management scholars who are advancing a scientific, evidence-based approach to understanding and responding to these challenges, we have an important role to play in charting a path forward.” Bamberger emphasized, “the fact that the Academy’s Annual Meeting is being held outside of North America for the first time is a testament to the increasingly global nature of our science, and demonstrates that the Academy of Management stands committed to cultivating inclusive, rigorous, and open spaces for research and learning.”

“We expect to see nearly 13,000 attendees in Copenhagen,” said AOM Vice President and Program Chair Christopher L. Tucci of Imperial College London. “Our members will be sharing peer-reviewed research findings and knowledge through approximately 4,000 sessions and symposia and 900 poster presentations, to help us all work toward solutions to the 21st century’s most pressing workplace dilemmas and strategic issues. Artificial intelligence and its implications for the future of organizations are top of mind for many of our scholars. We’ll also be discussing the latest findings and trends related to entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility, work-life balance, hybrid work, corporate strategy and innovation, employee burnout and retention, and many other interesting and relevant topics.”

About 90% of the program will be under one roof at Copenhagen’s Bella Convention Center for attendees’ convenience. An opening reception—hosted by AOM, exhibitors, and sponsors—will be Friday, 25 July from 16:30-18:30.
