An extension of Marriott’s Serve 360 platform, Connect Responsibly supports sustainability efforts in meetings and events.
Our Actions: Meeting Impact Report
Wherever you are in your sustainability journey, Marriott is there to provide you with sustainability impact metrics tailored to your event. You’ll receive a detailed meeting impact report with access to carbon offset projects to choose which project your event supports. Your event’s carbon footprint is determined by many factors (but not limited to): # of guests, sleeping rooms, if pens/ pads are used, linenless tables, water bubblers, food donations etc.
Contribution Options: South Pole Projects
As part of the Connect Responsibly program, Marriott takes its offerings a step further by providing customers with access to carbon offset projects. Marriott’s consultants undertake a rigorous vetting process of verified carbon offset projects across the globe, available via our contracted vendor, South Pole. A select list of projects is then included on the South Pole web shop, allowing customers the option to include carbon offsets as part of their event, and choose which project their event supports.
