2026 Call for Professional Development Workshop (PDW) Proposals

Division PDW Chair: Pierre EL HADDAD, INSEEC Grande Ecole, Paris, France

Professional Development Workshops (PDW) are the preferred ground to introduce and test new ideas. With this year’s conference none-specific theme, PDWs allow an open horizon to submit, test, and explore a wide range of ideas and methods. The flexible format of PDWs is a call for scholars, practitioners, consultants and scholar-practitioners to be innovative and daring.

The flexible format of PDWs is a call for scholars, practitioners, consultants and scholar-practitioners to be innovative and daring. However, the division invites submissions to consider research that serves organizations and people within organizations, and how to deliver immediate and sustainable performances. It also encourages research that is based on field observations and real-world interventions and practices that transformed organizations. Professional Development Workshops provide a space for dialogue and cross-fertilization between MC members as well as with members of other divisions. Such collaborations enable grounding the field of consulting in science and enriching the field of management in general with actionable knowledge.
