The Academy of Management Community Accelerator Program (CAP), in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Kragujevac, invites scholars from the Western Balkans to an interactive workshop focused on navigating the international publication process and developing research for leading management journals.
Led by Professor Joanna Campbell, University of Cincinnati, and Professor Shad Morris, BYU Marriott School of Business and Director of the Whitmore Global Business Center, both former Associate Editors of the Academy of Management Review (AMR), the workshop will combine insights into the publishing process with practical guidance on developing stronger theoretical contributions and positioning research originating in the Western Balkans for an international scholarly audience.
The program will address four interconnected areas:
The workshop is designed for researchers at different stages of their academic careers who want to strengthen their understanding of the international publishing landscape and develop a more strategic approach to publishing in high-quality management journals. The workshop represents the first stage of a developmental program that will continue on 15 December 2026, ahead of the EBM 2026 Conference(http://ebm.ekf.rs), with a second workshop focused on hands-on work aimed at developing and improving participants’ research papers.
