The 2nd Latin American Practice & Process Gathering (LAPPG 2026), in partnership with the AOM Community Accelerator Program, will take place at Mackenzie Presbyterian University, in São Paulo, Brazil, from December 2 to 4, 2026. Building on the success of its inaugural edition held in Medellín, Colombia, in 2024, LAPPG has become the leading Latin American forum dedicated to advancing Practice and Process Studies in organizational, strategic, and management research.
LAPPG 2026 aims to consolidate and expand a vibrant research community by bringing together senior scholars, early-career researchers, and doctoral students from across Latin America and beyond. With activities conducted in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, the gathering provides an immersive environment for intellectual exchange, mentorship, and collaborative development. The program features international keynote lectures, trilingual research clinics, methodological workshops, and integrative panels, fostering high-quality academic interactions.
The event will bring together globally renowned scholars interacting with academics from Latin America. Their participation strengthens the international visibility of Latin American research and supports the advancement of theoretical and methodological debates in practice and process studies.
LAPPG 2026 is positioned as a high-impact meeting for networking, collaborative research, and doctoral development. By fostering interregional dialogue, inter-institutional partnerships, and joint publication opportunities, the gathering contributes to the internationalization of management research and graduate education in Brazil and across Latin America.
