This is a permanent call for submissions for Academy of Management Discoveries.
28 August @ 19:00 – 20:00 EDT
In partnership with AOM’s Community Accelerator Program, the Laboratorio Internacional en Ciencias de la Gestión Pública is please to present the Spanish-language webinar “Territories and Risks: Irregular Migration, School Vulnerability, and Organized Crime — Challenges for Public Administration.”
The webinar explores the interaction among three phenomena that pose growing challenges for public management and territorial governance: irregular migration, school vulnerability, and organized crime. Drawing on empirical evidence, econometric models, and criminological approaches, the webinar will examine how these dynamics emerge and interact across territories, with particular attention to the role of institutional and local capacities in responding to increasingly complex scenarios. The discussion will provide an opportunity to reflect on their implications for public policy design, prevention strategies, and the capacity of public administration to address emerging risks.
